Current points of inspiration: ‘maqam’ jazz fusion music. The public domain. The "Dust to Digital" music catalogue. The Epic of Gilgamesh. City waterfronts with street musicians. Ritual, embodiment and transformation. David Shaviro's "Discognition." The fiction of John Williams and Barbara Comyns. New England quarries and Scottish land art. These things are inspiring me because they are wild and quite spiritually fearless.
